Support with development and delivery of assessment, EPA and qualifications

Providing fit for purpose assessments, effective and supportive quality assurance 

In 2018/19 I have been involved with a range of projects:

• Developing guidance and training programmes for assessment developers 

• Putting together a grading scheme for a suite of units and qualifications

• Quality assuring EPA assessment materials and EPA assessor training programmes

• Guiding markers, producing and delivering training for markers

• Providing the EPA/awarding evaluation and moderation for assessment instruments

• Guiding and critiquing qualification and unit of assessment developments

During my time as a consultant I have worked with a range of exams and other assessments from Level 2 through to Level 7, across a range of disciplines. 

I have supported organisations running with online and paper-based provision for MCQs, time constrained exam style assessments and post-graduate assignment submissions. Some using online proctoring.

Sometimes its been about improving induction and training, others about producing technical guidance on articulating standards and what valid assessments look like.

How assessments are quality assured and getting the delivery rules and guidance right has also been part of my work.
