New Qualifications Framework 

A new dawn for qualifications with a new framework from 1 October. The main impacts for Awarding Organisations will be clearer when Ofqual publish their new rules in September. I am anticipating the introduction of new style TQT (Total Qualification Time) and removal of QCF from qualification titles might be the most time consuming work, but it’s all in the detail.  See the letter from Ofqual here

Glenys Stacey’s departure from Ofqual is noteworthy too, whoever her successor will be is sure to want to make their mark.
